sandwiches in upper Northwest?

I'm seeking (on behalf of a friend) someplace that could cater sandwiches for 60 or so in May. (It's for a high school reception.) Private caterers or sandwich places are fine; they don't have a huge budget.

I'm not sure what your budget is, but you are going to spend about $6+ per person, if you go to any popular places, including some of the excellent suggestions that others have made here. The next big drop will be to get sandwich platters at grocery store delis, or Costco. The best value would be to make them yourself.

You can always use Whole Foods. I have used their catering service and have been happy with it.

Morty's (Used to be called Krupin's) is pretty good for sandwiches. They are in Tenleytown.
