Berkeley - Saul's Passover Bazaar & Passover dinner (artichoke and tofu matzo brie)

On Wednesday April 8th from 11 am - 6 pm Sauls' will be selling Passover items in an outside tent. Usually when they have events around the holidays in the tent they are pretty good. Sometimes music is involved.

They say they will have
Wine & toys
Matzo balls
Chopped chicken liver
Gefilte Fish - housemade with local fish
Saul's Horseradish
Ashkenazi Apple Walnut charoset
Horseradish root
Roasted Lamb bone
Niman Ranch brisket
Macaroons (almond, chocolate, coconut, chocolate dipped)

Here's the Passover Dinner Menu

Seder Plate
Roasted Lamb Bone or beet, apple walnut charoset, bitter herb, earthly turnip root, horseradish and matzo

Appetizers
Chopped liver and onion marmalade
Matzo Ball Soup
Local Pacific cabbage wrapped gefilte fish

Cocktails
The Red Sea Parted: rhubarb, orange juice and vodka
Passver: Cardomum soda with vodka and lime with house celere soda

Entrees
Artichoke & tofu matzo brie made with Josephine farm egg and Strauss milk
Local rock fish with mistachio lemon matzo crust
Niman ranch brisket kreplac and fried ions
Local poached chicken Iranian style with split pea mujeddra, chickpeas, spring herbs and served in a tumeric broth
