Any opinions of the Angler in Westminster ma
Looking to get some opinions about the angler fish market in westminster, has anyone been there?

Place is a GEM, I'm not into fried seafood so I can't comment on that, but it is some of the freshest, best seasoned, and sauced seafood I have had. The meals themselves taste modern and offer a variety of thoughtful and well executed dishes. The swordfish chunks in olive oil melt in your mouth, and one of the best seafood dishes I've had, simple but amazing, and thinking I was getting straightforward panko tuna SANDWICH, I was blown away by how good it was, it was more like a mini dinner, the tuna, seasoning, and flavor combination was gourmet. My wife has been impressed by her meals as well, as was I. The sides don't take a back seat to the center piece either, every side item I have had has been worthy of a fine restaurant, again, well seasoned, sauced, or flavored in some way. The place is deceptive, a seafood counter with a small dining area, fools you into thinking it is less than it is, it serves food that is rare and hard to found outside Worcester/Boston, especially specializing in seafood. If you watch the Phantom Gourmet and know his segment "Hidden gems" this is defiantly a gem for sure, don't live anywhere near it and not try it.
If someone is looking for a constructive reply instead of my pure praising of it, we did have a Fra Diavlo sauce one time that could have used more spicy heat and herbs, but that certainly seems to have been an abberation as the seasoning is usualy spot on.

I take it you are the owner. I come to your market from time to time and have since you opened. I am glad you are there. I think your prices are good and I have always gotten good quality seafood.
Last weekend I ate at your restaurant for the first time. The food was good, but not great. I had the fried clams. Some of my clams still had raw coating in spots. My husband had the pesto shrimp pasta, which he enjoyed very much and was happy to see all the shrimp in it!
