Let's hope it is made from Canadian wheat like the Italian variety was. Then again Canada grows 2/3 of the world's durum wheat.
And as a totally irrelevant aside, and for some unknown reason, Canada grows 90% of the world's mustard

The manager at Grande Cheese told me that Barilla isn't even shipping it over here anymore. Thinks that it wasn't enough of a seller. Too bad.
By the way, the regular Barilla packages I've seen recently are a little different now. They come from Barilla USA instead of Italy, are in 454g instead of 500g, and are fortified with B vitamins and the like.

I'm sure I've seen Barilla (not sure if it's Plus) at the Walmart Supercenter on Eglington.
