any recommendations on good food around Glenn Gould Studio? preferably within walking distance and under $25

If you're OK walking for ten minutes Tutti Matti is at Adelaide and Peter-ish.
I've never been, but there has been some good buzz about Chez Victor (Victoire?... something like that) in the Le Germain hotel on Mercer.
If you have to do the tourist strip, I've had OK luck at Urban.

There is a pretty nice place called Milagro, quite authentic mexican food on Mercer Street, though might be a (little bit) more than $25, depending on what you order. Milestones is ok too, a bit south of John Street.
