Mado - 3 questions...
Going to Mado tomorrow night for the first time - very excited!
2 questions, though...
1. What is the price range? Their online menu does not have prices listed and I've head it's pretty pricey... anyone know the ranges?
2. Will there be enough selection for a vege-quarium (someone who eats fish but no other fowl/meat)? I've heard that is it very meat-centric.
3. Are the shortbreads really that good???
I will report back on my experience!

Pricey is relative, restaurant to restaurant and what you are comfortable spending. You can get an idea of prices here: http://chicago.menupages.com/restaura... and see if you think it's pricey.
If you checked out their menu at the Mado website, you know they have lots of vegetarian dishes and at least a couple fish-based selections. The menu has both small dishes and full entrees so you can do whatever you want. I had a few small plates; my husband had an entree.
The shortbreads are very good. Not sure about "that good." Try it and let us know what you think.

re: chicgail
I went last summer. There were five of us in all. We ate through probably 90% of the menu and the bill was around 200 before tip. I think it was well worth it. You can do it for cheaper if you are smart about it. Also, if you don't see a veggie friendly dish you like, talk to the chef. They are good at what they do and may have something they can throw together for you.
