I stopped by this morning, chatted briefly with an owner or manager, and bought a few items: fresh sage, foccaccia from Simply Bread, and some organic rigatoni.
It is sort of LGO-ish, but not as cutesy (I mean that as a compliment). It's definitely not a place for one's weekly grocery shopping due to high prices and limited selection. instead, it seems to have three functions: 1) a neighborhood coffee house in which to relax 2) a place to pick up a few specialty items 3) a place to stop on the way from work to get a grab-and-go dinner.
It seemed nice enough with a few aspects still being finalized. I'll be back to explore a bit more.

I just walked by, on my way to Dick's. I was tempted to eat there, but, my mind was set. It looks like a Deli sort of place, mostly a market, but, significant space for serving prepared food, too. They had opened a very large door to the outside. The remodel of that strip mall is almost done. My inclination is to park on the other side of Bethany Home, and trade the short walk for the headache of trying to get a closer spot. Maybe I'll check it out this weekend. This is right on the corner of the strip mall that houses Richardson's, Dick's Hideaway, etc.

I stopped in about 10am today (Saturday morning), and I didn't see much to get excited about. It might be convenient for those in the neighborhood to get some Simply Bread, smoothies, bagels, and pastries, but, I didn't sample anything. They sell a lot of "natural" food brands that are also available at a lot of supermarkets. There was a small refrigerated display of prepared food, and it looks like they might be set up to offer more, but, I'm not sure what.

Thanks for the report. Just hearing that they sell Simply Bread products will get me in the door since it's less than two miles from my house. Interestingly, Basha's made grandiose announcements a few years about opening a new natural foods store called "Irv's" or something like that in the mostly vacant shopping center across the street. That never happened of course, so I welcome Luci's even if it's only a second-best alternative. I do like the "flip a strip" that is occurring on that corner.
