Good Food, Cheap Drinks, W Vill?

MinhLikesFood Apr 2, 2009 10:00 AM

I'm meeting up with a few old collegues tomorrow and I'm looking for a place in the West Village that will have good food and non-overpriced drinks. Something along the lines of a Wilfie & Nell or Blue Ribbon Bar, but any other options to think about? Prefer a casual atmosphere too. Thanks!

Those are pretty broad criteria, Minh. I think you can afford to limit it further by cuisine, type of drink and/or price of food... and clarify what you mean by "non-overpriced drinks" (under $10 for a cocktail?).

Without knowing very much about your preferences, I'll throw a few out there just to get the conversation going:

    La Palapa Rockola
    Mercadito Grove
Mr. Dennehy's (just a pub, really, but the burgers are good and beer cheap; good casual place to hang with the buddies)

Thanks, La Palapa is going to work perfectly.
