Cappuccino in Raleigh

  • 1

My parents were big big Hereghty's fans but they have been closed for a while. They stopped by the shop recently to see what was going on (the website indicates that they plan to reopen) but there is a sign on the door from the landlord saying that they will not be reopening. They are looking for suggestions for good cappuccino in Raleigh and they are also looking for a Hereghty's/Guglhupf atmosphere.

They are willing to go to Chapel Hill occasionally but they are really looking for someplace in Raleigh that they can make their regular shop.

Thanks!

  1. I can't speak for the atmosphere in comparison to Hereghty's as I've never been there; but, my pick for best cappacino in Raleigh so far is at Cafe Helios on Glenwood. I've also tried Morning Times, Third Place, and CupaJoe but have been less enthused. None of them compare to Cafe Driade in Chapel Hill, which is fantastic.
