Chef's tables/tastings in the Boston area?

Hello all,

I am a journalist researching a story about chef's tables, or chef's specialty tastings, in the Boston area. Some places I know that offer this are Via Matta and L'Espalier. I know that Craigie on Main offers a Chef's Whim tasting. I'm looking for recommendations of other such offerings.

Thanks!

most higher-end restaurants offer chef's tasting menus of some sort: clio, no. 9, troquet, rialto, oleana, radius, o ya, oishii...

Check out the "chef's table" at Asana in the Mandarin Oriental. It's a private room with a wall of glass overlooking the large kitchen. Really a great room.
