How long will dried mushrooms keep in the pantry and wiil the type of mushroom influence the storage time?

I use them frequently but, they'll probably out last me!

If you keep it in a sealed container or bag, then it should last for a long time (preferrably vacuum sealed)

If it is not sealed then as hannaone mentioned, humidity may create molds. Even in dry area the dried mushroom will lose fragance and flavor over time if not sealed tightly.

It will depend on how much humidity gets into the mushrooms. As long as they are protected from humid conditions, they should last a long time.

Maximum time *may* be measured in millennia!! I've kept Chinese Black Fungus in the pantry for more than 2 years without any problems.
