Thai in the Village

suy Apr 1, 2009 10:20 AM

Looking for a good and spicy Thai restaurant either in the East or West village. Looking to do takeout so doesn't have to be fancy. Any ideas? Thanks!

they do a brisk delivery/takeout business, last time I ate there the orders were flying and the delivery guy was barely sitting.

Many on this board will recommend East Village Thai (I'm sure you could find many reviews on a quick search). I like it as well, but was not as totally bowled over as some. Definitely better for take out as it is tiny! Also, delivery for me has been VERY fast, and I'm quite far from them. Let them know you want it spicy, otherwise it may not be all that much so.

I highly enjoy Room Service, at 166 8th Ave. And I've only ever had their takeout- which is both quick to come and delicious to eat!

Rhong-Tiam is your best option. They have locations in both the East and West Village as well.

Rhong Tiam's EV location is takeout and delivery only, they share the same kitchen as Kurve, but have a different menu from Kurve.
