Goat in Philly?
I just read this article on NYTimes.com...
http://www.nytimes.com/2009/04/01/din...
I've never had goat and it got me wondering if anyone knows if there are any Philly restaurants, lunch trucks, taquerias, whatever, that serve goat that is really delicious.
Thoughts?

the jamaican food truck by the community college on 17th b/w spring garden and callowhill has curry goat. haven't had it yet but like everything else i've had there.
also, i had a ridiculously good goat special at south philly tap room which hopefully gets on the menu: goat empanadas over a salad of arugula, cherry tomatoes and goat cheese ranch.

Both Cantina los Caballitos in South Philly and Cantina Dos Segundos in Northern Liberties have goat available as an entree or as tacos, and their version is delicious. La Lupe in South philly often has it, but I didn't much care for it. A lot of the taquerias serve it, especially on weekends, just walk around south philly, you'll find some.
Blackbird in Jersey often has it, Salento on Walnut Street has Goat ravioli, most Caribbean places, like the Jamacian Jerk Hut serve it. It's not actually that hard to find in Philly.

re: Bigley9
Not that I remember having it myself, but according to the menu... yes: http://jamaicanjerkhutinc.com/jerk_me... Curry goat & curry goat roti. My friend who's Jamaican *loves* the food there & the people are extremely nice... why do I not go more often? The website says they're opening another location soon, but not where!
