Make your own fresh Mozzarella?
Where is there a place where you can make your own mozzarella? I would like to take my best friend to do this sometime while she's in town. Thanks! :-)
Your home. It is not very difficult.
Sure, you will probably not get perfect texture the first time but if you put some thought into what went wrong, a few cracks and it will be really good. Not to say it will be inedible, even the first time, but that it might be a bit overworked or overheated or whatever might be the case. The taste will still be quite nice.
Also, it takes very little time even if you don't have the groove down.
