PHX: Pink Taco Closed

Picked this news up on another site, but thought I'd share it here. I'm sure there will be few tears shed over this on Chowhound, although it is unfortunate for the restaurant's staff.

Not surprised....the place hadn't had any buzz in a long time and never seemed crowded after the initial few months. I thought the place *looked* awesome. I guess the one good thing I could say is that they had pretty good chips and salsa. In any case, it's a cool space and a great location so hopefully somebody can move in there and make something interesting out of it.

There is so much to say, but I think I can sum up my feelings in a simple phrase:

Good riddance to bad rubbish.

I doubt it will be missed.

I wonder what restaurant will go in it's place...it's a pretty nice location, I always wished the food was good!
