  1. Great news! I'm assuming since it is in an outside courtyard that non-students will be able to shop as well?

    1. interesting. i like that it's T accessible. i wonder how diverse the produce is going to be at this location. i hope it's not all apples and pears...

They had navel oranges, bananas, mangos (sold out), pickling and european cucumbers, 3 kinds of lettuce, snow peas, amazingly good strawberries, 3 kinds of potatoes, plum tomatoes, and at least a dozen other things. It was a pretty good sampling of the more popular items they sell. Everything was by the item, which was a little weird (pickling cucumbers for 25 cents each, bananas for 30 cents each) but it's a great addition to the area, which has no source of decent produce.

        2. That's kind of awesome on several different levels! Good for them.

          1. Anyone know if this market is still going... if it has an end date or is it ongoing... into the fall and winter?

            Thanks!

It kept going through the summer, and is still going now. But I'm not sure whether they plan to stop during the winter.

            2. Sorry, where exactly is this stand located? I would love to stop by for a visit, since I work near the campus.

It's near walker memorial, in the courtyard (not the "mcdermott court" courtyard side, by the sculpture, but rather, the adjacent courtyard between the alumni houses)

Just got a notice that from Oct 27 - Mar 30, it will be inside in the Stata Center (first floor), every Tues except 12/22 and 12/29, from noon to 6pm.
