More Mission Street Food: Amuse Bouche

Alas, he's not tweeting yet.

Amuse Bouche is a French dude near the Mission & 24th St. BART station that sells a pastry & hot beverage (usually chai) on random mornings. For a $1.

  1. Is this the 21st century analog to the stock broker selling apples on the corner circa 1929?

I enjoyed mine. But given his random hours & nature of the treats (it can be anything - pastry, muffin, cake-breads), its clearly not destination food.

To be clear: You are not getting a giant Costco muffin & a Big Gulp sized drink for $1. I got a small muffin & a dixie cup of Chai. What I consider a reasonable portion size for a treat. And given the quality, $1 is still a bargain.

Good quality in a small package for under a buck works for me.

      2. Saturday the 4th from around 9 to 12 AM, at bernal farmer's market, we'll be there with Lemon and Poppy seeds muffins, Lemon tarte meringuee and the tchai.

        And lot of happiness !

        See you there, folks !
