jeff and sommelier in love with pigs ducks and feast of plenty,
we are here form torona for a wee bit and are looking for some advice on places to find good pig good wine and ducks . Rillettes chacuterie cheeses hams bellys and what not make us happy.... we know about picard but where else to explore.
I'm not sure that other restaurants in town do "pig" the way Au Pied de Cochon do it.
I think "La Salle à Manger" on Mont-Royal make their own charcuterie.
For some good (but minimalistic) charcuterie and cheese plates and (very) good wine selection, a few places like "Bouchonné", (fairmount st. ) "La Buvette Chez Simone" (parc ave.) and probably "La Grange" (on mcgill)
