Cheap Cheese/Wine Classes?

ttraveler08 Mar 30, 2009 12:18 PM

I'm looking for a class on wine and cheese offered by somebody reputable in Chicago to give as a birthday present. The specific subject doesn't really matter (e.g. what kind of wine and what kind of cheese) as long as they're pretty general. My main caveat is that the class should be $20-$30 -- I can't really afford more than that.

I've looked at some classes at Pastoral and Bin 36, but these are too expensive. Fox and Obel is one place I've considered, but I'm looking for some more options. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks!

    Check out Sam's here:

A lot of inexpensive tastings, events, etc.

      Good recommendation.

Like Sam's, Binny's also has tastings and classes at their various locations. www.binnys.com/events
