You're really getting around! I looked at the restaurant list and my choices would be: Anonna in Westhampton Beach, La Plage in Wading River, The Laundry in Easthampton and Bayview Inn in Jamesport. Thought Jedediah changed hands, or did they keep the name? I chuckled that Boulder Creek in Riverhead was on there, but what the hey. I won't be going anywhere this week (two birthdays and an anniversary coming up next month) so enjoy for me.

I hit Legends and loved it (wrote about it on the NF Table, so salty! thread) and am thinking about giving Jamesport Manor another shot although I was not impressed the last time I was there (nothing terrible, just rather bland and uninspired for the price).

Vine Street Cafe is truly a gourmet's delight! (The duck confitr is to die for). Although recently expanded, be sure to make reservations early as they are only opened Thursday through Sunday, so your mid-week trip to Shelter Island will be wasted. As for us locals on "the Rock" it's one of the VERY best resturaurants on the entire east end of LI. The ferry from either Greenport on the North Fork or North Haven (Sag Harbor) on the South fork lets you out on Rt. 114 which runs right by Vine Street Cafe. (Extra tip: they also have an "early bird" dinner if you are seated before 6:30 PM. What a great deal, but don't tell anyone else, or I won't be able to get a table! After an early dinner on a Friday or Saturday night in mid June or July head over to the Itzak Perlman summer music camp for young aspiring musicians,at Sunset Beach, and hear some FREE fabulouus classical music played under a tent.

vine street cafe was really good! the salmon was cooked perfectly medium rare, they way we asked for it. tasty shitake roll appetizer and yum desserts all in pretty beachy farmhouse setting. Great deal for RW!!!
