Eulogy in Philadelphia
OK - just because we happened to get lost, we found this restaurant/bar and it was better than any steak & cheese. After walking for a while, and in desperate need of something, we saw this bar called Eulogy. The beer list is EXTENSIVE, the taps clean and you MUST have a pot of mussels and don't forget to get the fries. This place is small, dark and warm ...a great place overall and I highly recommend it to anyone! Enjoy!

I've had good experiences there, but the last time I went it wasn't so great. Some of the staff there can have a bit of an attitude (I guess b/c they can since it's always crowded). My husband ordered fish & chips and got a handful of chips with 3 tiny pieces of fish, like the size of small chicken fingers. We've eaten there before and the fish & chips were a nice portion. The plate looked like it lost some food along the way! We asked the waitress and she said that chef told her that's the size of the order. My mussels were also tiny.
Good place I guess, but not worth the hassle. I can get better mussels at Devil's Den and the Sidecar with just as good of a beer selection.

re: TwoBellies
We had one bad experience at Eulogy with mussels being tiny and we actually sent them back and received an apology from the kitchen, stating that their order of mussels had been extremely small in size this time. They happily took them off of the bill. We've always had extremely friendly and knowledgeable service there, and I agree that the grilled cheese is amazing! We just moved to Old City in November, and this is the place that we've been too many many times more than any other place (and I don't even drink!).
