London-looking for Earl's Court brasserie?

Hello,

I am trying to organise a work dinner for four people that is in walking distance (max 20 mins) from the Earl's Court exhibition centre. Something quite simple—probably in the European brasserie style. I had thought of 11 Abingdon Road but I have seen that it has changed hands. Does anyone have any reasonably priced recommendations? Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks!

There is a great gastro-pub called the Atlas very near to West Brompton station (so should be around 10-15 minutes from Earls Court or 5 minutes if you leave out the rear of the exhibition centre). Excellent food -- only downside is no reservations, and a self-seating policy, but usually not too bad.

Otherwise, you can walk towards South Kensington and hit La Bouche which is an excellent French brasserie on Old Brompton -- probably closer to 20 minutes walk though.

I can second the Atlas. A stonesthrow from the exhibition centre, and great food, which is italian twist on english gastro pub fayre.. The chargrilled ribeye steak with a salsa verde never disappoints.
