Seattle - Need pre-theater dinner ideas

boisenewbie Mar 29, 2009 02:03 PM

I will be visiting Seattle for the first time and I got a ticket for the 5th Ave. Theater for a 7:30 show during the week ... I won't have a car. Where would be a good place to have dinner before the show?

The Georgia Room at the Fairmont just across the street. Tulio would be another great suggestion. Make reservations early for either and don't forget that credit card!

BOKA might be a option- I know they have theater specials

Purple is just across the street and north a bit. Great wine choices, and pretty good food.

Purple is a block west and a bit south of the 5th Avenue Theater.

Another suggestion is Shuckers, also in the Fairmont Hotel.

The food at Earth and Ocean in the W hotel is great too. It's fairly pricey but they open right at 5pm and it's only a few blocks away. Worth a trip! I also think they are doing Dine Around Seattle - so 3 courses for $30 is an amazing deal for some wonderful food.

It's a walk of few blocks, but Elliott Bay Cafe is lovely (closes at 8:00)
