Texas de Brazil

We know it's good. I agree. But has anyone on their mailing list been receive any discount coupons lately? That's the only way I can afford to eat there. Had a buy one get one free coupon back in November I think, used it, and haven't heard a word from them since. Maybe I ate too much?

  1. act right away to get their discount package to get 12 "half-price" dinners for something like $58, which entitles you to pay only half-price for 12 dinners. call their restaurant and ask for the email, or just buy it over the phone. the offer expires tomorrow, i think (march 31).

dang, i love that garlic sirolin!!! and the salad bar is terrific.

12 dinners there would surely kill me (and I'd let it). I guess I just had to reboot my club membership. After sending them a comment over the weekend, I got a free birthday and a 25% off certificate via e-mail.

my friend said they've extended that discount offer through april.
i'd sign up, but fair oaks mall at dinner time during the week is just not feasible for us here in n. arlington.

I'm in the same position (or just a mile or two west). The one time I was at the TdeB at Fair Oaks, I met friends there who live in Vienna. Since the discount coupon I had didn't work on Sunday, the day we usually get together for dinner, we went on a Monday or Tuesday, and it took me nearly an hour to get there from Falls Church at dinner time. I was ready for a drink by the time I got out of the traffic. I sure feel sorry for those who have to do that every day, coming home from work - or worse, GOING TO work. ;)

    2. I don't know if you've been to Chima which is similar. The price over there dropped to $39.50 per person for dinner then you can sign up to there email and get $25 off two dinners so it will only cost you $27 a person. They email me every other day for that special and it's good up to eight people. So if you decided to go with eight people, you save $100 off the check.

Thanks for the tip on the price drop and discounts. The price of the better Brazilian meat houses (Fogo, too) makes it something I do only once every couple of years. I do Malibu Grill (most Chowhounds hold their noses when you say that) a couple of times a year.

LOL, it's not just the price, it's the cholesterol! ;)
