Lakewood Blue Claws stadium food

Is there anything really good for sale inside the stadium? Is there anything even passable? We've been told that one cannot bring outside food into the stadium.

Are there any good beer selections?

Thanks for any info. We're probably going on April 11th and wondering if we should try to eat before we get down there (we're coming from Manhattan).

I don't remember there being pizza, but I could be wrong. I do remember burgers, chicken strips, fries, hot dogs and pretzels. I actually worked back in the kitchen once, and it's really not that bad. Fryers to the max, naturally, but clean.

As far as beer, all I remember is Miller or Bud Light on tap.

Miller and Bud Lite? Well, that's too bad. Maybe they have something else in bottles. No relatively-local stuff, huh? Well, it's not like it'll kill us for one day not to have anything! :)

I was there a few years ago and seem to remember in the right field area by the BBQ a sort of cart with bottles of various craft brews (too long ago to remember brands- but I do recall they ran out of what I was drinking and I was able to find something else drinkable to switched to something else). The fact that I was drinking beer at all means it had to be better than Miller and Bud.

I'm pretty sure they carry Brooklyn, and a few imports.

Typical stadium fare. Decent bottle beer selections. The best food is along the back in right field where they offer some grilled items.

Definitely head to the bbq pits behind right field. Not great bbq, but better than most of the other stadium offerings.
