What should I get at Dong Phuong Oriental Bakery?

I want to go there for lunch, but would like recs as to what to order. Obviously a sandwich on their banh mi -- but what kind? And should I get something to go with the sandwich?

If you're looking to order a banh mi sandwich..

Get the Banh Mi Thit Nguoi which is the cold cut combo and what most Vietnamese people order. Also, the Banh Mi Thit Nuong is good and is my favorite. That's the grilled pork sandwich. For pastries, I like the Pate Chaud and the Banh Bao (Steamed Buns).

The Chinese Roast Pork is great. I always ask the woman making the banh mi which type she recommends, and she always says the #5. Whether it's really the best or whether it's just what most non-Vietnamese customers [such as myself] tend to like, I'm not sure, but it's always good. I'd like to try the others--anyone on here have suggestions?

#5- Chinese Roast Pork is my favorite. The prepackaged cinnamon rolls are amazing in the microwave, and the pate chaud & meat pies are all good. It's hard to go wrong. If it looks good, get it. Super cheap, too. Expect to be surprised by the total price.
