Anyone remember Tiffany's wine and cheese cafe in Commack Corners?

Looking for a place like this, laid back atmosphere with good wine and cheese pairings and live entertainment, on LI, NYC or NJ...thanks very much for your feedback.

  1. I don't remember Tiffanys but I do remember the Time Peace Cafe in Rockville Center. Had great atmosphere, old New Yorker magazines, some board games to play and always a musican playing easy music. Great place to go for some good conversation. Had the best platters of cheese with apples and grapes. Not to mention the best selection of wines.

    1. I remember Tiffanys very well, also there was another great place just like it in Farmingdale. We used to go in big groups and have the best time. I don't know that anything like that exists anymore, now it's all about coffeehouses it seems. But East Enders coffee house in Riverhead is relocating to the Best Western restaurant's lounge, so there will be a bar and lots of great music, so that might work for you.

I went to a Tiffany's in East Meadow when I was at Hofstra more years ago than I care to remember. I'm surprised this model hasn't been copied. The backgammon and chess games could be replaced with Wi-Fi and internet games.
