Chinese Restaurant Recommendations in Regina

We are having a family reunion of sorts, and we want to go out to a Chinese restaurant in Regina. I live in Calgary now, so I'm a little out of touch with Regina. So any recommendations would be appreciated. I used to go to Lin's Chop Suey when I lived in Regina, but I see that they are no longer around.

It depends on what you want. If you are looking for a more upscale place to reunite, I am of no help. But it you want decent chow, check out Newtown, downtown on 11th.

Upscale chinese is Regency on the eastern outskirts. Lower key but excellent, and very traditional Taiwanese food, is Four Seas, just up from Peking House. It is small, though, so I concur with the Peking House suggestion if you are a bigger party than 10 people

thanks all for the recs. will try Four Seas next time I'm in town. I always stay at the Delta, so its just around the corner. Any recommendations for Four Seas, besides the dishes with minced pork??? How's the soup???

Salt and Pepper prawns are really good. That is basically all we order there along with Chinese broccoli in garlic sauce which is also good.

I used to love Lin's Chop Suey when I was living in Regina too.

The Peking House would be my recommendation too. I have never been dissapointed there, and I've been to a few special events they've put on and enjoyed myself.

I actually had a great tea leaf reading last time I was there. Good times.

What about Peking House, on Rose downtown? It's always full (including those of Asian heritage), and always very good when we have been. They have large round tables perfect for larger groups.
