West Town Tavern - ish
Heh, I love the food at West Town Tavern (especially the pork chop) and and it seems like the neighborhood's restaurant scene is changing at a mile a minute. If you're looking to stay in the area, this place JUST OPENED (and I haven't been yet, but waiting to try) called Branch 27 (http://www.centerstagechicago.com/mus...) that seems to fit the MO of WTT too.
You might consider Old Oak Tap at 2109 W Chicago Ave, Chicago, IL 60686, (773) 772-0406.
I've not been to West Town Tavern, but I live around the corner from it and have seen their menu. My sense is that Old Oak Tap is more casual, both in terms of menu options and pricing. This is not to suggest that the food isn't good; quite the opposite and the beer selection is very good.
