Dinner near Weinberg Center (Frederick)
Going to see David Sedaris next Saturday at the Weinberg Center for the Arts in Frederick (20 W. Patrick St). Were going to be a group of 5 adults in our mid/late 20's. We live in Baltimore and don't know Frederick at all. we are not looking for anything too fancy or expensive. We eat most types of food but one is a vegetarian and one has slightly less adventurous tastes but could probably find something to eat no matter where we end up.

By the way, Frederick celebrates First Saturday every month which means that downtown is packed with people in the evenings starting about 5PM (especially if it's nice weather). If you can, come early and walk around to see who has an available table. That may be what makes your decision for you.

re: Hal Laurent
Yep, every First Saturday. If you are not familiar with Frederick, parking is a big problem and all the restaurants are packed! It's great for the city but confusing for people who don't know how to get around. The same thing will be for you on the first Saturday in May. I'm pretty sure that most restaurants don't take reservations for that night either.

I think Cafe Nola would be your best bet. It's just across Market St. on East Patrick, so about a block from the Weinberg.
