don't waste your time at brimstone woodfire grill

We were at the shops at penbroke gardens and decided to try brimstone woodfire grill. What a joke! The steaks were bland and under seasoned, and the price? I've eaten J. Alexanders in fort lauderdale for less and have had a ten times better steak. My friend ordered the snapper. If 1980's cuisine comes back then your in good shape with this entree. Next time i try a restaurant based on a review about how "indie the music is", well let's just say I won't.

I went once and was underwhelmed with the food, especially at the price. The bar is mediocre, wine list was disappointing and there was a strong liquid smoke taste to my filet mignon maki.

Although I wouldn't say the food at Brimstone is top notch cuisine (I believe it's a higher end chain anyway) my husband and I actually enjoyed a dinner there a few weeks ago. The service was good, very friendly staff, good wine and enjoyable food. I would, and have, recommended this place for dinner for people shopping at Pembroke Gardens.
