I'll be traveling to Key West for a long Memorial Day weekend with my husband, and looking for suggestions of where to eat. In particular key lime pie, conch chowder/fritters and anything the area is known for!

We're open to different price ranges, just want great, authentic food! Thanks.

Blue Heaven is a great place to try. The atmosphere is very "Old Keys" complete with a wonderful outdoor dining area and bar complete with roosters roaming the yard. The original building was a brothel if memory serves me correctly. The atmosphere is fabulous and the food is wonderful, and the cocktails strong. I love this place!

Ok so usually I come to chowhound for restaurant suggestions, but when I saw the title of this post, I had to reply. I love Key West and I love the key lime pie at Blond Giraffe Key Lime Pie Factory....especially their 'pie on a stick.' This is literally a large slice of rich and tangy key lime pie, dipped in chocolate, and frozen. So you eat it like a popsicle. It is absolutely delicious!
      Enjoy!
