Anyone know of an Italian bakery or restaurant that has torrone candy? What about nougat logs?

  1. Cossetta's in downtown St, Paul. I bought a bunch of candy there this winter. Good luck.

Yup, Cossetta's torone selection was great at Christmas time. But they might not have any more now that it's spring. Call to check before you head over there.

Also, it's imported from Italy, not made on the premises. I don't think there's a source for made-on-site torone or nougat in this town. So tragic!

    2. How about Spanish "turron"? Does anyone know where I can find it? A couple of years ago, I was gifted with a delicious box of "turron de alicante" from Spain. I have not seen it anywhere. Thank you.

I've seen Spanish turron at El Burrito Mercado, but I can't recall if I've seen it outside of the Christmas holidays. Alternately, you can get purchase it at latienda.com.
