msp - petit fours

Anyone know where I can find some petit fours in the metro? I want to serve some at an event, but don't know of anywhere that has them. I checked Patrick's and Pardon My French, but neither place has them.

  1. I'm pretty sure you'd find them at one or more of the following:

La Patisserie (Randolph & Snelling, St. Paul)
Patisserie Margo (Edina, off Hghway 100 and 50th)
Roseville Bakery (Larpenteur & Lexington, Roseville)

    1. Truffles and Tortes has them. They are right by Teahouse in Plymouth.

So glad you added Truffles and Tortes! I was racking my brain trying to remember the name, because I knew she makes them. The owner is lovely to work with, and everything she makes is so good. Beautiful too. I'd try this place first, Rachel.

Everything is meticulously made. I bought a chocolate multilayer something - I wish I could remember what... and it lasted two whole days after I'd stuck it in the fridge. I ate the first half (the day after I bought it), wrapped the remainder in plastic wrap, plopped it in the fridge and it was just as tasty the next day. To me that was amazing.

Of course I let it come up to room temperature to get the full flavor - Ok maybe not always. Really good chocolate-y good.

Yep! Everything I've had from there has been terrific. She donated a beautiful, and remarkably generous, array of miniatures for a benefit we had at the Weisman. People were wowed by the presentation and the taste.

Just as a by-the-way for those who are reading but nowhere near Plymouth: Truffles and Tortes supplies pastries and baked goods for the Buon Giorno market in Lilydale.
