Rotten Lemons

I received, courtesy of a friend of my roommate, about 6 bags with 4 lemons in each. (i originally thought they were Meyer lemons, which they were not. made for really tart lemon tart.) anyways, one lemon in each of three bags went just evil--all green-gray and dusty. no problems on the other lemons in the bags (which i had been storing on my kitchen table.) do i need to throw all the lemons out? can i use them to prove that my constitution is ironclad? i washed the adjacent lemons and threw them in the fridge. will they be okay?

Not too sure why you would feel the need to throw out perfectly good lemons just because they came in contact with a rotten one. They are fine.

I think they should be just fine - I'd just taste the juice after you squeeze them.

thanks! anyone know why one can go bad, but not the others, or affect them? weird.

If you are going to use the peels of the lemons you save, be sure to wash them thoroughly with soap and water.
