Church St. Diner...

I saw an episode of Restaurant Makeover a little while ago and they were redoing the above. However, when I passed by there yesterday the windows were all covered and there was a "closed for reno...we'll be back" sign. What happened???? I really liked that spot..

      I walk past this place all the time and those "We'll be open soon! We miss you!" signs have been up for way too long. Probably around 8 months.

          MargieEv - as you say they were really very nice and friendly people and the breakfast was part of our ritual in the Gay Village where we have been made so welcome. My wife bumped into one of the chefs a few months ago and he said that there had been some sort of botched plumbing job originally which had bumped up the price of renovation.
          We still enjoy the Rainbow Cafe with its own lovely breakfasts.
