Brewing beer, curing meat, or making cheese?

Can anybody recommend a place to buy a good amount of good chocolate for a good price? I know Dollarama used to have Scharffen Burger, but they don't anymore as far as I know. Where do you guys get your chocolate now? I don't mind buying large quantities--I go through a lot of chocolate. Bonus points if it's in North York.

There have been a few posts here in the past about the Lindt factory outlet. I've never been, I'm afraid I would buy (and then eat) way too much chocolate. Try searching the board for Lindt factory, they have a couple of locations.

As cheesymama said the Lindt outlet is your best bet. They have outlets in Scarborough, Mississauga and Kitchner but nothing in North York.

If you go after Easter they'll have all the Easter choc reduced further. Sometimes they have chocolates that are close to the expiry date for really good prices. I once bought the 100g bars for $.75 each.
      Hope this helps.

I've ordered from ChocoDirect before, they put specials on some short-dated higher end chocolates fairly often. Shipping is pretty cheap (around $5) IIRC, and they often throw in some freebies as well.

I buy all my bulk chocolate from domino's foods in the st.lawrence market. They have callebaut Chocolate for a great price. Milk, semi, dark and white. Once you start using callebaut you won't go back. They have it in large chunks or in chips and discs.

any thoughts on where to get brands like amadei for a good price? used to be able to get it at bon chef for a couple bucks cheaper than other places but they do not deal in food stuffs anymore. noticed a good selection at scheffler's but hard to say if it's worth it there for $9/bar.

I saw some seriously cheap 70% chocolate about 1 month ago in Giant Tiger on Kennedy. I cannot comment on the quantity or current availability.
