Some great food in Billings, now.

I visit Billings several time a year because I have family there. The dining scene used to be pretty barren, but it's much better now.

Enzo's, tho still in business, seems to have lost most of it's charm & good food.

The two restaurants that I can personally recommend are Stella's Kitchen & Bakery and Cafe Italia. Stella's for breakfast & Cafe Italia for dinner.

Both absolutely worth a try.

I would have to completely disagree : ) Enzo's is a place that makes me look forward to having an excuse to be in Billings. Stella's is a coffee shop and not worth the destination unless one wants dinner plate-sized cinammon rolls (the old location of Stella's used to have some authentic ambience in the old location). For casual breakfast or lunch the McCormick Cafe is sublime - fresher than fresh.

Billings is hit or miss, no consistancy anywhere (with the exception of Pug Mahon's).

I lived in or near Billings for years. Moved away about 1995. Anyone remember The Muzzleloader? We used to stop there for breakfast when in town. Also, The Rex used to be good..and The Grainery. R they still there??

I've got to give a short plug for CHAM THAI, downtown. They do a more than serviceable job and don't shy away from giving you the heat if you ask for it.
