Tysons Corner--Lebanese Taverna & Konami

Just posting to the great VA chowhounds who helped us find these two great dinner places near the Embassy Suites/Tysons Corner fior our family with 2 teen girls. Lebanese Taverna, on the lower level of the Tysons Galleria, was just fabulous. We arrived on Sat. and were glad to have made reservations. The place was jumping. Enjoyed some great appetizers, fresh bread, and lamb dishes. Service and atmosphere were excellent & prices reasonable for the quality. Second: Konami, a japanese place tucked away on the first floor of a building on Leesburg Pike. You could easily pass it if you were not careful. This is a beautifully decorated restaurant. Sushi was excellent quality, I especially recommend the Konami Roll and the Magic Dragon Roll. We went there late on a Monday night, no crowd, service was very attentive. Thanks for recommending these two great places! They really contributed to a great vacation in the DC area!

Thank you so much for the report. Always nice to hear the before and after.

Konami is our go-to sushi spot. The atmosphere and service are just as high quality as their sushi.

Even though they are different foods, I'd have to say I like the quality of food and experience at Konami much better than Lebanese Taverna.
