Best romantic but fun spot in Boulder area?

My date and I want to go somewhere romantic and fun but not too over the top. We both have very adventurous palates and are up for anything - suggestions?

We love Carelli's in South Boulder, the front room has a fire place and some large circular booths and the back room is quieter. The food is wonderful... Try the Scallops(with capers, olives and tomato sauce and spinach) on the gluten free menu.

Romantic and fun is a challenging combo. Add adventurous palates and....wow!

Laudisio (29th and Canyon) is another very good Italian restaurant with a lively bar, counter near the pizza oven, well-spaced tables and good service. Sherpa's (Walnut between 8th and 9th) is a Nepalese restaurant in a charming old cottage. Food is similar to northern Indian. Moderate prices. Brasserie Ten Ten (Walnut and 10th) is an atmospheric, but not intimate, French restaurant. Black Cat (14th just south of Pearl) IS intimate, excellent food made first-rate chef. If you're willing to drive to Denver, Domo is country Japanese, fascinating dishes and presentation, beautiful garden (for when it warms up) but very uneven service.

Radda is a good spot for a romantic but not break the bank dinner. Not sure if you're looking for a place like that or more of a very intimate fine dining experience.

I like Radda for a weekday lunch but it's kinda noisy for a date...

Well, where have you been that you've ruled out (or are still considering)? It's kind of hard to take a shot in the dark when you clearly have some notion of places in Boulder.
