Tacoma "moderate $$" student group recs?
My son, who's attending U Puget Sound and hasn't gotten off-campus too much his freshman year, asked me to research and recommend a moderately-priced ($15-$25/head)restaurant for him and about 8 friends to go to in the Tacoma area. He, at least, eats everything; not sure about his pals. They have cars but don't want to drive to Seattle.
After perusing the board, my tentative recs:
Vuelve a la Vida
Tacoma Szechuan
Gateway to India
LeLe's Vietnamese
Any "don't miss" dishes at these places? Am I missing other good choices? Thanks in advance!
I like Indochine and it has a cool atmoshphere. There is a great corner table for a group, have him request the round table. The prices are good and they can order family style and get lots of different dishes to try. Rice goes a long way with boys.

I would check to see if they can do a table for 8, not sure, haven't been there in a while.

Both Indochine and Rock Pasta are good suggestions. But number one on my list would be Vuelve a la Vida. As a Chowhound destination, it rocks.
