I see all these recipes with sherry vinegar, but I haven't been able to find hekshered sherry vinegar anywhere here in New York -- not at Zabar's or Fairway, Supersol or Kosher Marketplace. Anyone know if hekhshered sherry vinegar exists? If so, where? I would be deeply grateful!

According to the OU site, Mizkan makes a sherry vinegar. You could try emailing them to see which retailers carry it.

Here's the page on the OU website with the information.
https://www.oudirect.org/public_ukdDisplayDetails.aspx?UKD_id=OUV3-77C2052

Funny that the Mizkan website doesn't have it listed... only a "Sherry Cooking Wine".

I've sent them an e-mail asking if and where it's available to consumers.

I just got a (very fast!) reply from Mizkan:

"Thank you for your recent inquiry via our website regarding Sherry Vinegar. This item is available only to bulk customers. We do not have any retail products of this item."

I'm going to speak to a food distributor friend and find out if we can get the bulk quantity. Maybe I'll rebottle it for friends and neighbors ;)
