What's at Dobson & Southern? (Mesa, AZ)
It seems to me that there have been multiple posts about good Asian fare in the Dobson and Southern area of Mesa. I know that there is a plaza with multiple restaurants tucked behind the Oregano's on the NW corner but don't know any by name.
Can anyone offer some insight to who's in this area?

Just a little west of the intersection is a terrific Japanese restaurant, Toh Zan Nagasaki Grill. Just to the east is a terrific little sub shop with very unique atmosphere, Cheba Hut. There's a Mexican restaurant, Top Shelf, that is to be avoided at all costs.

There is a lot of stuff there, two chinese places, Best Hong Kong and a szechuan place. BHK is hit and miss in my opinion.
Dragonfly is a vietnamese place that is good. Great short ribs and calamari.
There are also two other places there I have not tried and can't remember (they both looked good - maybe korean and thai? ). Plus there is sakatini and an oreganos.

Used to work close by- IIRC that shopping plaza has Asiana Market, Dragonfly's Mesa location, a boba tea place, Best Hong Kong Dining, and a Japanese fusion martini bar called Blue Wasabi I think? Best Hong Kong used to be good, haven't been there in a while but I've heard it's gone downhill lately, Dragonfly is pretty good, boba place is pretty standard, and I haven't tried Blue Wasabi or whatever it's called.
Or it might be Mekong Plaza that you are thinking of, at Dobson & Main, just a few miles north of Southern.

There is one called Best of Hong Kong on the northwest corner of those streets that, of my opinion, has been on steady decline the past few years. They still have pretty decent duck and pork but the other dishes are not what they used to be.
In the same corner is a Korean place called Hodori I was not blown away by either.
