Chattanooga, TN - Vegetarian

I'll be staying in Chattanooga (downtown) for a week on business next month. I'm a vegetarian and would love to know of any great local resources for some veggie meals while I'm out and about.

I'm currently only aware of The Country Life Vegetarian Restaurant and Bakery. If anyone's been, any recs?

Any other places to grab a bite for breakfast or dinner?

Whenever I go to Chattanooga, I try to visit The Meeting Place located in downtown Chat. Last time I was there (about 6 months ago) I took a vegetarian with me and the restaurant was very accommodating. They specialize in fresh local selections and I love the food, ambiance, location, etc. My vegetarian friend was thrilled with her food, but I think she was most impressed by the fresh fruit cobbler she had for dessert! Good luck.

I would recommend that you telephone the health-oriented Greenlife grocery store (423) 702-7300 and ask them. It is a beautiful store (similar to Whole Foods) that is located across the river from downtown.
