Annoying video ad blocking my text!!!

Holy gripe....

What's this ad video blocking the text I am tryint to read? The little close button on the upper right doesn't even work. This is very annoying and predatory.

I respect you people placing ads on the website to help pay for it. But if this website starts to sabotage its own content by having the ad intentionally block the text users are trying to access, in order to make a few quick bucks, I will be leaving!

I had the same problem and I was pretty angry about it. If stuff like this becomes a regular thing on Chowhound I won't be coming here any longer.

Is this the AT&T ad for NCAA basketball coverage. Totally annoying. Couldn't see text. Couldn't close. Had to close out and then return to the topic to see. But it kept happening so I needed to cut off my visit. Do please fix.

I had the same problem with not being able to close the ad.

I've had the same problem for two days. It's very annoying when you can NOT close the video where the "x" is marked. Please remove the add.
