Foxwoods Casino

Hello -
My huband and I will be going to Foxwoods to see a show in April. Has anyone ever eaten in one of the restaurants there? It seems the only one that has a good review is David Burkes but it seems a little pricey. Any other ideas? Thanks so much.

We've had good luck at the Cedars Steak House. $=Same as David Burke but not as fussy. We also find that, if you can get a reservation, Paragon is worth every penny. Talk about pampered! It's a great, great dining experience.

There are about 40 reviews of the restaurants in/near Foxwoods. Search the boards. :)

I've said this before on this board - David Burke Prime is, IMHO, worth every penny. A great restaurant, friendly service, unpretentious, and amazing food. However, if you're not into that scene, Al Dente is only slightly less expensive and offers nice Italian entrees. Going any lower than that will get you restaurant chains - which are not bad, but you get what you pay for. That being said, my faves would be Hard Rock Cafe and California Pizza Kitchen. I'm not a fan of their buffet.
