Does anyone know if France has a version of Open Table? I'm trying to figure out the best way to get reservations for an upcoming trip to Paris.

Depends on which restaurants. You can reserve on www.bestrestaurantsparis.com. You can call restaurants directly. See if the restaurant(s) have a website. Ask hotel concierge to help. Hope that helps.

The best way is to call the restaurants directly. Most French restaurants have not entered the Internet age, though there are exceptions. That said, check out Bestgourmet.fr .

I never used it but I have seen some selection.

There are a few on opentable itself.
Many of the 2 and 3 stars in Paris have their own website and will take email reservations.

Call them, even with poor French , call around 11AM, thus 5 PM their time, works well. Although my reservations at Atelier du Robuchon was made and confirmed online.

The Michelin Guide shows websites and email addresses. If phoning is inconvenient or your French isn't that good, they are the best ways to reserve. It may take a day or two, but you know just what you have.

              Yes, www.opentable.fr/

Not too many restaurants on their list, but useful info and links to restaurant websites.
