Pirate Cat Radio Cafe

Heard about this thanks to Bourdain taking his TV crew there for the bacon maple latte. Sounds like more fun to talk about than to drink.

I guess this is both a cafe and a low-power radio station, so the baristas double as DJs.

  1. I'm friends with one of the DJs doubling as a barista. They use La Paz coffee beans, if it interests anyone...

    1. I went a few times when I worked in that neighborhood and didn't love the coffee, though I think they sold some locally made caramels I enjoyed.

      1. I am not a hype supporter - but I'd recommend the bacon maple latte here. Had it this morning right before a trip to Rainbow. Barista mentioned it takes 10 lbs of bacon to come up with 6 oz of their 'refined 'version of bacon used in the latte.

And it's more fun to drink than to talk about.
