looking for lunch recommendations on a Monday in Brooklyn. Williamsburg, Park Slope, Carrol Gardens...any of those neighborhoods. any price. any cuisine just a good solid lunch place taking out some out of towners and they want the best Brooklyn experience. Lunch is so limiting. any sugg's would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Maggie Brown's on Myrtle is a super cute, cozy spot that is open for lunch. If you're leaning towards fancy, The River Cafe does lunch and the views are spectacular - very Brooklyn! I also love Frankie's during the day - the light is gorgeous and the food delicious. Have fun!

I second Al Di Law and Luger--two totally different but excellent Brooklyn lunches

Lunch is nice at Aurora. Also they are participating in Brooklyn Rest. Wk (lunch only).

Aurora in Williamsburg is great for lunch. Also, Peter Lugar burger is awesome and you can usually just walk in with no reservation (unlike dinner).

Al Di La on 5th Avenue and Carroll Street in Park Slope serves lunch on Wed - Sunday. It is a good deal with great food.

The OP asked for a Monday recommendation. On that basis Al Di La is out.
