I sure am going to miss my pre-Red Sox fix of fish tacos, with opening day just a couple weeks away.

I live right around the corner (and lost drycleaning in the fire, btw). After the fire there was a lot of hub-bub and talk by Mayor Menino about "doing everything possible" to ensure the restaurants were back open by Opening Day. They held special meetings for the owners, etc. As of now, nothing has been done. The burned out building is still there, everything's boarded up, and there has been no progress made from what I can see.

There was a big article on it, in the Globe I think. Saying it's probably gonna be a good long time before they can all get up and running again. I think there was mention of 2010.

Thanks, I must have missed the Globe writeup.
I didn't really think they would be back by Opening day, but its sad that they haven't made any progress as yet.
